Started jogging with weights in a backpack on
I have been jogging for a few months now and the effect has worn off where I dont feel much of a work out anymore. I bought a back pack and have put 50 pound weights in it and OMG, huge difference. If anyone is looking to up their running routines, I would recommend this. It kicks your butt but it feels awesome. The other cool thing about it is if you can run a couple of miles with extra weight on, you'll run even faster with the weight off.

try landing on your toes instead of a heel strike. You might have to change shoes for this but it is how we were made to run. Do it much and you'll find yourself running vs. jogging.
Also try going backwards in a safe location. If nothing else it will mix it up a little.
