Default Sore legs

I saw a couple topics on this but want to narrow it down to my peticular problem and solutions. I started my weight loss. I do NOT do diets cause I love food. lol I instead run for miles. So I started off with a wimpy 2 mile run and my thighs are killing me. Should I suck up the pain and go run again? A little, or a lot? I really don't want to quit for a week while they fully repair. sad.gif
What kind of foods besides chicken and eggs should I eat to speed things up? Are nuts an ok food? Do I only need protein?

It's your muscles, not joints or ligaments or anything, right?

I would think you need Protein and carbs. My non-expertise would think eggs, chicken, almonds, and pasta. Usually carbs before a workout, but if you need quick recovery I'd feed your muscles as much as they want/need.

Again, not an expert, just makes sense to me at the moment.
