Losing 10-15lbs in 2 months a realistic goal?
I have dieted before, but I will admit that it was not the most healthy way of doing it. I am 6ft tall and weigh about 195lbs and would love to slim down to 180ish before the spring. I am not really trying to build muscle so I am mostly going to be focusing on cardio. My question is would I be better off doing this first thing in the morning or late at night?
Also can anybody give me a few ideas on what to eat during the day besides fruits? I can easily cut out sodas and the occasional Friday night beers, but I am mostly worried about what to eat during the day. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

It completely depends on your determination. I lost 60 pounds in 3 months, but I had a $10,000 motivation
Do cardio in the morning on an empty stomach. There are no carbs left to burn so you'll be targeting fat cells. Don't eat a ton of fruit, fruit = sugar and if you eat more sugar than your sugar storages can handle, it gets stored as fat. Sugar = bad.
Eat protein, complex carbs, and just healthy foods. Fish, chicken, green veggies, etc. Burn more calories than you take in. Don't exceed more than 50-60 minutes of cardio at one time or your body will enter a _______ (I can't remember the name) and start protecting itself. After an hour of cardio, the body begins to think something may be wrong and it goes into protection mode. Mix it up with weight training; weight training helps to burn FAT rather than simply lose weight.

If you have excess fat, use it.
Fat is your body's way of storing energy.
Put less excess energy in and it will store less. (eat less)
Use more, and it will have lower reserves. (move more)
Even parking farther from the door wherever you go will help on the "move more" side. Cut out between-meal snacks and drink water instead. Save money on sodas and beer by drinking water instead of those as well.

Lager and ale you can hardly see through almost don't count as beer, but SHOULD be counted as a meal in some instances for purposes of counting calories.
