Lasik
I would love for my wife to have it done. From the people I've talked to that had it, they've had no problems. I have 3 friends who had it done several years ago.
One person said they had to wait for their eyes to stop changing and to 'level out' before they could have it done. My wife's eyes keep getting worse and worse; she's at -7.0 right now (I wonder if she's legally blind - can she get scholarships for that?!).
Anyways... I'm saving up money now so she can have it done. All three friends say the same thing - it's the best choice they ever made.
Is it a lifetime guarantee? Once you have it done, is it possible for your eyes to get worse again? Is it likely if they're still continuing to get worse?

I know 4 people who have had it done. 1 one of them said they saw halo's around lights for about 2 days until everything healed up, but now they're perfectly fine. Plus, every single one of them had their insurance carriers cover it.
I guess the way it works is, after about 15-20 years...you're eyesight will change and you might have to wear reading glasses some times. But other than than...no issues at all. One of the people I know how did it, got it done back in 2000 (10 years ago almost) and they're vision is still as perfect as it can be today.
Luckily I was born with 20/20 vision, so no glasses or anything for me. But those who have gotten Lasik swear by it.
