Default I got lasik

Got it done on Thursday. So far so good. Waking up in the morning and not having to put on glasses or put in contacts is the best feeling ever. My vision is a perfect 20/15 with no halos at night around lights or any problems. I was pretty nervous but there really was no reason to be. You dont feel anything during it. It took about 30 minutes to do it and set me back $2400 (1200 per eye). 10/10 would do it again if I had to.

I need to get Lasik but I don't think I can get over the freak out factor.

There's nothing to freak out over. You lie still for a few minutes and then you get up. As the man said, "nothing to fear but fear itself"

I made the mistake of watching a video of how it's done. Cutting the cornea and peeling it back is what freaks me out.

Oh, see that's not even your part. They have people paid thousands and thousands of dollars per hour for being excellent at it, who do that part.

That might be an older video. I was under the impression they dont do it that way anymore.
