I wear both. Glasses more so as of late since I've ran out of contacts and my Rx is expired.... Definitely prefer contacts.

Damn car takes every penny I make leaving no funds for a new Rx and contacts lol.

I have 20/22 vision. No glasses, but I've been diagnosed with Macular Dystrophy. Hopefully I won't go blind in the next 10 years sad.gif

I've had 5 laser surgeries to save my vision, though it is worse now than before, at least there is no more bleeding. Glasses for the rest of my life now.

Glasses for 34 years now. Contacts bother me. I can't even put in eye drops, my eyes are so sensitive. Not a candidate for surgery either. Funny thing is, I test 20/20 without my glasses. Without them, I'd be blind in my right eye before I'm 60.

Let us know how it goes! I've been thinking about getting the laser surgery now for years.

i've been wanting my wife to get laser correction, but her eyes are horrible and keep getting worse. I've been told they have to get to a constant state before correction will be performed. Her contacts are like -8 and -7.75.

Nope. I was diagnosed with macular dystrophy last Christmas. Macular Degeneration is the leading cause of blindness in people 50 and over. The Dr. told me it was rare to see someone so young with it.

instead of seeing straight lines, I might see this:

it affects acute vision, so I'll have peripheral but not pin-point vision.
