It looks like its spreading all over Florida now. I wonder how much it will spread through out the US. Why does it appear that every summer, there is some new virus or disease that breaks loose and the public has mass hysteria over it?

i'm not worried about it very much... It seems to be another flu-like disease with a nasty side-effect if a woman is pregnant but otherwise pretty not-scary

It will get very, very, very, very bad and it will be all the Republicans fault for not spending billions on eradicating it and Hillary will eventually save us from it.

The thing is nothing is "new". This virus didn't just appear out of thin air. These viruses have been around for thousands of years, we are just now discovering them. Are we in any more or less danger then we were a week before we knew about Zika? No. Am I glad they discovered it? Of course, that gives our scientific community time to start finding a solution.

I'm going to worry about Zika about as much as I worry about a solar flare hitting the earth and life as we know it coming to a catastrophic firey end.

OMG, now CNN is reporting about how the foggers contain harmful chemicals. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I recant my previous statement, the scientific community obviously has no clue....

CNN doesn't represent the scientific community.
