There’s feats of strength aplenty that happen every day, and it often feels like every time you check your Facebook there’s a some new maniac capturing his adrenaline-soaked adventure via GoPro head bracket. It’s easy to become numb to it. But last night, well, last night 5 foot tall, 100 pound Kacy Catanzaro topped ‘em all. The former college gymnast champ was competing in the Dallas finals of Esquire TV’s American Ninja Warrior, a grueling series of tasks strung together that makes all those other obstacle course shows look like playing in a Nerf castle. She became the first woman to complete the course and move on to the next level, Mount Midoriyama. All we can say is watch it for yourself, but get ready for some sympathetic arm pain. Wow.

Beyond Catanzaro's awe-inspiring tenacity and athleticism, the commentator's incredulous outburts are the icing on the cake. They're just as amazed as anyone, hell, more so, by her casual destruction of the course.

saw this on tv the other night. she went beast mode on that course and her boyfriend climbing the tower at the end like mario saving the princess in donkey kong was epic. hope she does well in the next round. shes so little (5 foot 100 pounds) so that gives her an advantage.
