Has anyone tried a fruit diet? I have been researching about it and it seems easy. Im kind of a picky eater and only like apples, grapes, asian pears(at HEB), and strawberries. Dont really like bananas or the others. So im trying to think of a diet i can try out for a few weeks to see if I can lose some weight. I weighed myself a few weeks ago and im pushing 289 and wanna be thinner then that. I dont really exercise but im constantly walking everyday. Anyone have a good fruit diet plan or a link i can look at that maybe i can try?

Also be aware that if you start drinking (only) water and eating smaller portions of whatever it is you currently eat, you will lose weight. Whatever diet you choose, you will be always hungry if you are in process of losing weight. Drink water to mask it, and press on.
Yeah, thats a ton of sugar if you are only consuming fruit. If you are already overweight, chances are your blood sugar could be elevated as well. More sugar is not the answer here. Best to look at your food portions, eat small portions more times a day, and definitely start exercising regularly. Water definitely helps, and there are some good alternatives to just plain old water that help quench the thirst and keeps the hunger at bay.(Propel, Lifewater, Vitamin water, etc...) Remember, there is no quick fix, as much as we all want. Make a lifestyle change, not just a diet change.
**If you want to loose weight quick, go get a wisdom tooth pulled and have it get infected and turn to dry socket. I lost 15 lbs in 3 weeks on a liquid diet. Only thing I could eat was soup, protein shakes, and water.
