Fitness Bands: How accurate are they?
I've had a Fitbit Surge for a week now. I'm incredibly surprised by how much it says my calorie burn is on average. It's much higher than I would have thought. Do people here who have any type of fitness watch/band feel like theirs is accurate or not?
I assume they calculate the calorie burn by using one's age, height and weight, coupled with non stop heart monitoring to get a pretty good estimate.
