Default 20 Lbs. in 30 days

I was 205 when I started, so 20Lbs. is about 10% of my body weight. I'm 2 1/2 weeks in and have lost 14 Lbs. I've been limiting my calories to less than 2K a day and hitting the gym for 2 to 3 hours most days. My routine is pretty much cardio one day (and maybe some curls and leg presses), then weights until I can't lift any more the next day. My arms are getting bigger and my legs are getting stronger, but my gut won't go away. Problem is that because of my kidney transplant, I can't do alot of Ab exercises.

My 1500-2000 calories is healthy food. Total with raisins, a banana and skim milk for breakfast, raw veggies or bowl of low-sodium broth-type soups (n o cream soups) for lunch and either soup or salad for dinner (whichever I didn't have at lunch). Some days, I only eat breakfast and lunch.

Thoughts, opinions?

Yes, my GF is kinda irritated at me right now. I'm losing weight MUCH faster than her. biggrin.gif

Keep it going! Are you eating any fish like Tuna or Salmon as well? That will help with the protein, or drink protein shakes, or ear bars. That will help in the muscle building process. Make sure you're getting alot of rest at night too because thats when the body naturally repairs torn muscle tissue from working out.

Good luck!

No supplements, shakes or bars. I get my protein from food. The shakes and bars are calories I don't want. I'm trying to replace fat with muscle. I don't want to add muscle without losing the fat. Yes, I eat fish... sometimes on my salads and sometimes in fish stew (but no chowder).
