I read something about the GL5 and brass that's not good. Or maybe the GL-4 and brass. Either way they are not interchangeable. My trans takes GL-4 and the rear end takes GL-5.

There was a thread on here about it, it involved the word hypoid and some lenghty paragraphs.





The moral of the story is not to use GL-5 in a transmission that needs GL-4. Like it's actually bad for your tranny.
