anyone interested in just the flywheel ?? i already have a fidanza and i want to use that instead.. but i need the clutch only..

Just wanted to let you know that the fidanza flywheel should fit - as long as it fits like OEM. I'd recommend selling the fidanza flywheel and using the VHR since it was all built to work together.

Should I count you in the GB?

i know what your saying.. it makes sense.. but i still want to use the fidanza..

The VHR flywheel is lighter, and better built. It's a Forged Lightweight flywheel also. Get the full kit and sell the flywheel.

 

if everything goes according to plan I'll have the cash on the 15th

i don't think the VHR flywheel is lighter... the fidanza is 7.5 lbs.. and i doubt its lighter than that..
i remember someone compared these before and the VHR was around 10-11..
i dunno if it's better built.. i've heard nothing but good news for the fidanza

 

Direct from the VHR manufacturer: flywheel=3.8kg ~ 8.36 lbs

The flywheel is not the only thing you need to consider with weight savings. The pressure plate, which is bolted on to the flywheel, in the kit will also save you weight compared to OEM.

 

Also, from what I've been told, the fidanza's are just treated and turned aluminum flywheels. The VHR's are forged, which means they are VERY VERY strong.

how come no one could come up with an exact number way back when we were doing the GB for these before?
anyways.. thats good to know.. 8.36 is pretty good still..
