Stainless Steel Brake/Clutch Line Gb
i responded to red z's PM but i also purchased the brake/clutch line combo last year-...
I AM VERY PLEASED W/ THE PERFORMANCE OF EACH PRODUCT-...
install was a little different from say a "direct swap" part (the clutch line was flawless) but the brake lines were a little challenging, the mounting tab on the fronts were located in different places and seemed to be almost glued. though it was only an 1" or so difference, the mounting tab was so tight it did not allow the line to turn w/in the tab-... this kinda made it difficult to run the line w/o hitting the tire/sway/tie-rods.
the rear lines (if i remember correctly) had "issues" w/ the little nut and clasp-... i simply just securly zip tied it to the strut.
after having this setup for umpteenth months it still works just as good as it did the day i installed them-...
despite some grease and an abrasion to the outer rubber layer (only on 1 that i can think of), they still look great too!
i am in no way trying to express any form of disgust w/ the BSE clutch/ brake lines!!!
to me it was a mere hiccup in the install-...
not nearly as bad as making a universal part fit-...
i should also mention i have kyb gr2 struts-...
and that in the past, i did have a set of EBAY ssbrake lines (that rd2 was totaled due to an unrelated cause) but as i was getting my parts back i did find that the inner most tube had sprung a leak on one of those lines!
thank you stauf for an awesome product! keep them coming!

Thanks for posting, I got PM's back from several members that installed from the last GB, most had no problems with the fronts, other than the mount being very hard to move (WD40 FTW!). All but one mentioned they had issues with mounting the rear center loose mount to the strut. Some zip tied like me, some found a way to make the OEM clip work by putting it in from the back side or elsewise.
Everyones seem to be working fine (I just get paranoid about parts that can wiggle or vibrate loose as I DO offroad on a weekly basis).

Okay, so I'll let production continue and ship when completed.
I agree, the front tabs can be seemingly stuck in place, but as Redz pointed out WD40 used liberally will work them loose.
Redz, if you or anyone has a photo of the rear mounting issue, please pm or email me as I'd like to see what you're talking about. Also, if you still have the stock lines, would you measure the total length of one front and one rear line? from fitting end to fitting end
Thanks, Stauf

Sure, and I do have the picsw, but I couldn't get them up last night, I was busy braking in the new pads so I can drive it. I got two more responses, with the rears, one didn't install them yet, but the other did and had the same problem as the rest of us.
If you look at the link in the first page of the thread where I posted the pics of the Technafit lines, you'll see what they did to prevent the "wiggle" that will cause the lines to come loose. This weekend I'll get the rear in the air and see how the lines are holding up with regular driving, and maybe I'll do some wiggling in a video for you to see.

Hey guys. Sorry for the lack of updates, but there hasn't been much to update with. There's been a couple backorders on fittings for the kits. If the last group of fittings come in tomorrow as expected, kits will ship Friday and should start arriving Monday. To save a day or two on shipping, I'll be taking everything out to LAX to ship as everything goes directly out from there. Sorry for the delay guys, unfortunately not much I can do except keep on it. I'll update again on friday with what's up. Thanks for understandin and not wanting to kill me, tho I know it crosses minds occasionally. Stauf
hey again guys. so the update is this. fittings didn't come in as expected and with the holiday weekend, new date is tuesday. so when they ship i'll be offering something to say thanks for being patient with me here. dunno what it'll be just yet, but it'll be something. more on tuesday. sorry guys. stauf
