I REALY REALY REALY think the idea to put all our tibs on one page or front page or one month is a realy great idea, its fair and lets everyone qualify, i also would think that for Febuary we should have RedTurbulance as the car of that month. anyone know where i can find some more pics of it

 

Yep, I think more people would buy the calendar if their car was on the cover.

I like the cover idea. I think we should set up a format for pictures. A certain size, amount of scenery, number of cars, and stuff like that. Then the cover will look fairly uniform.

Also, what if we wait on the cover?? We've got a 2 month headstart with Viper and Jaws' cars. When you send your payment you submit a pic of your car under the guidlines?? When everyone is paid up we can finish the cover. Then that way we can control the number of cars on the cover. We've got over 500 members, not that all would be on there, so I think that should be something to consider. And with the pics being uniform whoever takes the task of completing the cover has an easy job of it.

with that list, you have a pretty even distribution of colors and the diff. year rds. if you want, i can setup a thread with a poll for all these names, and try to get in touch with all the people i listed. i can get them to post a HIGH RES & CLEAR picture to fill in all the spots i listed below. also, they could post their caption, or whatever they would like to say about their tiburon along with a mod list, similiar to our setup for the Car of the Month.

in the thread, we could have people who i have missed that want to be on it submit ALL the required information. we could let it run for a month, maybe even 2 to make sure we get some good entries. i could lock that, and then start up another post for people only to post their picks, from 1 to 12, based on what they feel is the best as 1, and the lowest(relatively speaking of course wink.gif ) as 12. each spot could get a certain amount of points, say, 12 for a #1 rank, and so on. i would do a poll, but i dont think that would work right.

we could then make it so that the person with the most points gets first pick of what month they want to be, or we could just have it so that first gets january and last gets december.


my idea for the layout:

on the front page have the rdtiburon banner. underneath, have pictures of every month's car(same size of course).

for each month's page, have the "showcase shot" of the car, preferably a front angled shot.. on the left or right side of the shot, have a mod list. on the bottom, let the owner submit a couple sentences or so about there car(or we can come up with some thoughts on them ourselves, incase the owners are to modest wink.gif). for the actual calendar part, have additional photos fill in the spots where extra days would be(because not all months start on sunday). say a sideshot, rear shot, 2 interior shot(one for the front, and then another for a f'glassed trunk setup), and an engine bay shot. something like that.


any thoughts?
