Sorry but this is gonna be a one time production run, especially since we're having trouble finding people to buy it.
If anyone wants this, then you need to get in now.

I've heard a lot in the past that the rd2 shift surround is NOT a direct swap for the rd1 because the rd2 is thicker or wider or something of the sort. I contemplated doing this but a few members told me not to cause you had to switch the whole dash and everything. So RD1 guys (and girls), not worth our while to do this. If you really want it though, You could always Fiber glass something up, that would be pretty cool.

If you don't want it, don't post. It IS a direct swap, it WILL fit on your OEM console just fine, the curves on the edges at the front just will NOT match up with the stereo surround, as I've already posted.

Don't fill this thread up with shit that's already discussed or known folks. Further crap will just be deleted.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (javageek @ Nov 6 2007, 08:03 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>As for the RD1-RD2 conversion, I think you have to swap the whole dash out otherwise it will not match up to the shift surround.</div>

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (REDZMAN @ Nov 6 2007, 08:54 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>And yes, if you use the RD2 Shifter surround on a RD1, it'll WORK, but it won't match up perfectly because of some curves where the stereo surround hits the shifter surround. Sand it and paint it, swap the dash, what have you.</div>
