I will definitely look into that tomorrow morning. I got quoted 12 for RIX and 18 for frozen, christ! packaged up it only weighs 2 lbs.!

I will be getting 8 rings from Merlin on sunday and then i get to have a evening of polishing to get them sent out on monday.

Shipping out of country, it is cheap as heck up to 1lb. Once you pass 1lb, it becomes much much more expensive. It's something about the way it has to ship. Up to 1lb can be sent the same as a letter. I learned that when I was working with the calendars. 1 calendar = 8 ounces, 2 calendars = 1.1 lbs

That's why you get the GLOBAL PRIORITY MAIL FLAT RATE BOXES.

FLAT RATE means that no matter what you put in there, it's ONE price to ship. Canada is in on the program, so you can fill it with lead shot, and send it. If I remember right, it's at $11.

Here you go.

http://shop.usps.com/webapp/wcs/stores/ser...1&langId=-1

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Quick, Easy, Convenient. The Postal Service simplified your Priority Mail shipping process for documents, offering the easy-to-use Flat Rate Envelope. Just like the Flat Rate Boxes, this paperboard envelope features a predetermined rate of $4.60 regardless of the weight or destination zone of the package

Some key benefits:

<span style="color:#FF0000">-Can be used for Domestic Priority Mail ($4.60) and International Priority Mail ($9 to Canada and Mexico- $11 to all other countries, 4 lb weight limit applies)</span>

-Visit Click N Ship to purchase and print postage from your home or small business.

-The U.S. Postal Service offers free Package Pickup from your home or office at a time and place convenient for you. To schedule Package Pickup and for other pickup options and availability, visit usps.com.</div>

Okay, so I was wrong. For INTERNATIONAL it's 4 pounds max, but still, these rings can go.

Domestic, any weight is fine.

^^^ thanks for looking that up for me, that will definitely be the way it will be sent to canuck land.

ok guys, here are the polished versions of the ring.

top view

side view

unpolished vs. polished

spent a good amount of time this weekend on these guys helping Merlin and learning how to buff. We have 7 more that are cut, one that is unpolished and the other need to have holes drilled in them and then polished. I will receive these on tuesday night.

these first four will go to the following peepz that will ship out tomorrow:

HyundaiKitCoupe
Sea-Ray Tech
DrivingTibNaked
Tiburonmoo
REDZMAN

sorry I don't have pics of the ring with bolts installed. the bolts are in my toolbox at work.

send them payments guys, these rings look super nice!!!

for the canadian guys he is what i'll do:

you send the cash to merlin via paypal. i will send the ring and then pm you how much it exactly cost extra and then you send me that cash. hope that will work for you guys.
