Be sure to watch ALL of your electrical after you install one of these. I installed one about 4 months ago. Yeah, I did notice a big difference in my cars throttle response and power. BUT.....I got strange electrical gremlins after I installed. Voltage spikes that where way over 14.4V! I finally removed mine after both of my headlights and one fog light blew at the same time! (which also makes me question the OEM fusing of my car, but thats another topic for another thread).

It may have been the brand I purchased. I got mine off ebay. It was brand new, but I did have problems with it. Some JDM off brand probably. This stabalizer may be a great product, and if you guys like it, let us all know, because I really liked the gains from this mod and I hated that I had to take mine off. Depending on the comments on this product, I would be willing to eat the price of my previous stabilizer and try it again with this one. I just wanted to let you know my experiances with this kind of product and some things to watch out for when you do this. Good luck, I REALLY hope this is a better product than I had, because I look forward to getting this one soon.

Yeah, but yours wasn't the same brand too.

I don't know why yours messed up on ya Tom. Maybe you should try to return it and say it's frying everything?

Yeah, I'm pretty much stuck with this gizmo. I hope the one you guys are trying works. Like I said, the gains were VERY, VERY noticable. I HATED to have to remove it. 02.gif If people have luck with this one, I'll be looking into getting it probably towards the end of the summer. smile.gif

From the pics, it looks like a grounding system. Right? If so, don't they give you the recommended spots to ground to, but to find the optimal grounding points you need to do run on a dyno and change the grounding points after each run? Since every car is different that is what I would assume. Some might have better luck with different points. I only ask because I might be interested in this.

instructions for the basic mounting points are included. they also include if you change where it is wired to, what the results woudl be

but you are correct. in order to get maximum gains, you need to play with the exact spots.

unfortunately, the guy said the pirce he gave me was for hte first 10. since they are all spoken for...subsequent ones are now only available at $100 shipped
