ouch, sorry dude if it isn't below $600 cdn. I would not be interested. $1100, that is the price of the body kit I want, with tax.

I was just going to ask is this Canadian money ? I sure hope so, but even then it's still very expensive.
Also would you be looking into a Carbon hoods for 1st gen or 2nd gen, it sound like you're working on a deal for a 2nd gen hood.

Blue, don't get me wrong man, I'm all behind you for trying to get someone making stuff for our cars. Not to mention even having the ballz to tune a Hyundai. lol.gif
But dude, I don't want anyone ripped off, to include you.
Double think it before you pay that much for a hood mang.

Thanks man! Don't worry...my main object is to finish my turbo project. Plus the hood thing is being set up by my friend that I trust a lot. So I know he won't rip me off.

I want a first gen hood, with the reverse vent (my stock hood is cracked and rusting out). One thing to remember about the cost of a hood is a stock OEM hood is around $500 Can. Add in paint and fitting by a body shop and you are looking at around $1000 Can. While $1200 isn't cheap, it isn't much more than just replacing your hood with a stock metal one.
