I'd like to buy some racing seats for my 2000 tib, anyone know how to get us a group buy on them?

 

i wish i had money to spend, but i'd get some sparcos. nobody here that i know of has any connections with any of the good seat manufacturers.

 

contact distributors on ebay.

 

a racing seat is something you sit in before you buy it. i would never just buy them online without seeing or feeling or siting in one.

Don't buy a seat if you haven't sit in it.

 

for reference i've sat in some nice sparco's and i loved those but it was more strictly race car. but another buddy has some JDM ITR recaro's and they are just baller, they hug you nice but still are something you can drive in day to day and its comfortable.

 

good point with the sitting in them first.... lolz

 

i've sat in mutliple racing seats and "bucket" seats. the best ones i have ever felt were my bosses boxster seats. soooo nice.

 

I've got the Ikea seats of racing seats. They're ok, look cool, but you're always wanting to change em out for something different.

I can't ever afford the close to $2k for the leather Sparco Torinos that I want. So I'm stuck with em for now. Still way better than the stock seats though.

 

I agree with redz and optimo, this is one of those things you drive around and but test everyone you can find.
