2) Loneshark, you can get a CAI coated in sterling or any other coat. You can get Airram manifold coated in sterling or any other coat. The turnaround time is from 4 days to 1 week from when they get your parts. I'm positive it takes approximately 3 days for the coating to dry off, a day or two to coat, and a day to process the papers. They did my headers in one week and they did a hell of a job.

3) All coatings are coated inside and outside except for mufflers.

4) Yes, by all means, rusted headers can be sent and they will clean the rust/debris off and coat any condition headers. Just make sure it's not in too bad of a condition to start off with. The reason headers and exhaust rust so easily is not because of water, it's because of rapid heat change. That's why your BBQ grill gets rusted. Combine constand rapid heat change with water and you will get Titanic without the tragedy. Coatings prevent any of that. You couldn't compare the rusted header to the coated header as the coated one will look and smell like off assembly.

Basic coating begins with sterling finish but other colors you can choose from are not sterling however they have the same effect. They will not change color from excess heat, they have a lifetime rust warranty on your first part; if the coated part rusts you get a second part coated free of charge. These are the colors/coatings we should choose from.

All coatings are able to withstand up to 1200F. It will keep your engine cooler, headers cooler, and give you some insignificant hp gains depending on your setup.

Is it worth it? To give you an idea, compare your mom's tea cup set on the dining room table to your welded headers of exhaust. Which one don't you see any traces of welding and heat marks on?

If I get the headers off of ebay i'm in. I can have the seller ship them directly to jet-hot. If there is a certain date we are looking to ship I'll ask them to ship then. Headers and downpipe for me.

looks like there's only one left...anyone? if we can't find anyone else i might just toss in my mani and dp to get this going. I'm going to try to test fit them again on monday, my reason for not going ahead was I want to replace my log mani with a equal length later but then what the heck.
