Default Group Buy for 2000-2001 Tiburon Cuda Kit

We are going to start making these kits here in the states to save money in the long run. However, it will cost us a few grand for the mold to be made. We will start next week, and it will be done in 1.5 weeks after that. Its fast since we already have the bumper here...not much custom work has to be done.

We will be having a special deal on the Cuda Kit to help offset the costs of the mold. This is a one time offer. The kits (FB, RB, SS, and spoiler) will be 1100 including shipping, and without spoiler, 900 including shipping. If you are interested, post here, and then a group buy will be started.

Couple of questions.
What will the kit be made out of?
Approximately when will this group buy end?
Can we buy pieces of the kit and not the whole thing?
For those that only want certain pieces, can they get a lower cost?

I sure hope that you make the kit with better quality then whoever made my Cuda... and you have a different/better shipping company then the one that shipped mine.

As for the exhaust, i would say you have 3 choices...

1. Get a fake pipe welded on to your existing pipe, running to the driver side hole.
2. Shave/fiberglass the driver side hole.
3. Redo your exhaust.

Later

The kit will be made out of fiberglass. We are making it at the same factory here in California where our SC2 kit is made, as well as other kits that we offer. This group buy will run for the next 2 weeks. The only two options is with spoiler or without spoiler....we arent splitting up the kit yet. If you get in with someone else who wants the parts that you dont want (ie, you get front, other gets sides, rear.), we may consider something like that.

Everything is still included: foglights, emblems, muffer tips, grill...

Since I spoke with Brad on the phone today and am getting a US made front bumper from him to replace my accident ridden one, I'll answer a couple of your questions.

"What will the kit be made out of?"
It will still be made of Fiberglass, however, fitting will be better than the Korean Model (Passanger side turn signal not fitting 100% right). Supposedly, the type of fiberglass they are using is stronger and more flexable than the Korean one. It's the same company that's making the rest of Shark Racing Body Kits.

"Can we buy pieces of the kit and not the whole thing?"
Judging by the deal Brad has put out, I would say negative for group by pricing. However, you can always email customerservice@sharkracing.com for special pricing if you want to buy individual pieces.

"...will the foglights also be included or is the us version of this kit going to be different?"
Foglights are a Hyundai OEM part. I don't see why this would change.

Brad can fill you in on the rest.

*Edit: Looks like Brad beat me to the punch. lol*

I have always liked the Cuda, so I'm in for the buy.
