Just FYI I know for sure any 14mm (M12) bolts will be 1.25 thread pitch. If I can remember this tomorrow I'll check out the other ones.

Unfortunately do to some unforseen problems with my daily driver and job situation i no longer have the time or money to look into finishing this so if someone else wants to take it over...be my guest or else i'm considering it dead and the mods can do so as well locking it or whatever needs to be done....Sorry

I can take over everything on the engine if someone else would like to take the time needed to find out what ones are needed in the rest of teh engine bay.

Depends on how crazy you want to get with replacing the bolts.

There are quite a few check out my last post with the picture. I guess it would come down to what everyone could agree on replacing and being included in the kit.

Other than the engine I can think of about 16 more bolts that can be seen easy. I could get a better count if I knew what people want to replace.

I'd be up for it too, but damn, well over $100 for some bolts and washers? That would be the deal killer, but it is some nice flair. Not too rice. I will definitely consider.

guys seriously, let's worry about the price later. with my motor out it will be simple to figure out the ones that are exposed. not to mention the fact that these look like SS bolts which will far be better in the end.

you want to worry about price, do a search on exotic car forums for guys that replace every bolt in their car with titanium ones. i can't remember which car forum it was or what car it was in particular, but the price i remember was $2200.00 and saved 30 lbs. off their car, insane.

I don't know how anyone would know if they save any weight, since no one here has them or has weighed them.

I don't see weights on the site. I know the stainless ones I put on my valve cover were lighter than the stock ones. Never thought about it though. Exotic or not, lighter parts make a lighter car.

Of course 1/2 of a pound of weight loss for $100, I could take a dump and triple that. LOL

Lee, why don't you guys just make these bezels and we can get them coated. I'm sure you have good connections for fasteners right?

GOod lord man, they make a killing on those.

in terms of getting them made by me that is rather a redundant matter, anything machining wise for a reason that i will not discuss at the moment, OT. and not to mention i dont know anyone that does anodizing.

as far as the weight mentioned i was pertaining to the titanium bolts, really wish i could find that forum thread. i very much doubt that since these are SS there would be any weight savings, especially with the big washer.

just sometimes i get really tired of hearing" damn that is alot of money for so little"...

Ive got access to stainless fasteners like that. As well as some of the washers of that type. I have to look and see what could be used as a washer for the bolts because the ones I have are really just for screws. Then I can look into anodizing or possibly powdercoating. Powdercoating will be much easier and should hold up just fine. Ill do my best to look into it ASAP when Im not busy at work this week.
