<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (OzFxCoupe)</div><div class='quotemain'>Just got it mate... Beewwdiful!!
I might need to take an early lunch break today so I can get this sucka on! I prolly won't be able to get the IM bored out til some time next week though... I'll put the spacer (which I must say smells a bit like cat piss! rolleyes.gif ) on at the same time, while the IM is off.
Thanks again Col... You're a true Living Legend! laugh.gif</div>
The resin in the phenolic does smell, but it's not toxic laugh.gif
I found that the TB would whistle/hiss under excelleration b4 the IM was bored but not after. I quite liked the sound but I quess it was due to the restriction going into the IM, so it's better that it's gone. rolleyes.gif

Just put it on...
I thought I'd botched it up at first... turned the key & the bloody thing was just revving to the redline on it's own!! I cut the engine straight away (thought the butterfly was stuck open) but the throttle cable just needed some wiggling about... must have just been snagged on something
Anyway, reset ECU & took it for a quick spin... so far so good! Tried revving the spunk out of it but my clutch is just slipping to buggery!! mad.gif Oh well, that's next on the agenda!

ok guys, In order to help out reducing the requests / questions about Col making more of these, I have moved this to closed group buys.
No more posts asking whether you can still get in on this. Use this thread for BUYER feedback with Col ONLY. Any further posted requests will be deleted.

Mine did the same thing...did you notice that the white plastic thinngy has two little holes on it. Make sure the metal throttle wheels mates with it (it has two little indentions). If not, the spring will not get the necessary tension and slipage, causing the engine to rev spuratically when driving and the butterfly will not close all the way..causing the engine idle to raise.

Yeah, I made sure the holes were lined-up properly before tightening the nut on the pulley...
I think it was just the throttle cable caught on something because I didn't really adjust anything & the problem was solved... Just did some "well thought out, tactical jiggling"! rolleyes.gif
Anyway, everything's working great now! laugh.gif
