It is a good choice for where to place your switch. The child window switch locks all window controls i believe. It even locks the driver from opening or closing his own.

Ehhh, not mine. Mine only locks the passenger I belive.

 

It only locks the passenger from operating their window. The driver can still control both driver and passenger sides.
