as for getting name out there...unfortunately, it's all about economics...if it's not making money, it's not worth production...too little products will be moving out, and importation costs too high. sorry doods...

Wow, I guess demand no longer is the driver of supply. Importation is importation. If you are importing 35 exhausts for an MR2, importing 5 short shifters along with it is nothing.

understandable...short shifters being packed in with exhausts systems is of no problem usually. but when manufacturers typically talk about demand, they expect sales of upward of 50 per run (only small car niche...bigger companies = a few hundred per production run).
i don't agree with that policy, but that's what happens with small companies. if it can't see a forseeable large amount of sales, it will be knocked off production list for items that have higher potential of getting sales. that's why i personally only deal with large companies now.
as for the short shifters, let's just say, thank you redzman. if there were no sales, i can only assume that the RD line will have been dropped. honestly, aftermarket sales to hyundai markets are so small that companies must pick and choose. i'm glad the people who chose ark have chosen it, and if there is enough demand for items, who knows wink1.gif i can see only good things happening.
redz, my company (ESP T) will be dealing with the niche sales mostly, so don't worry. big name brands here we come. i'm still waiting for my list though wink1.gif
