I got mine yesterday. The colour is actually dull blue, not quite metallic. Anyhow its looks great. Thanks for the GB!

I almost had to get one of those extra stickers.

I was waiting to put it on until I could get some heat resistant glue, but I set it on the cap to take pics.

Well, I forgot about it and drove around all day. When I finally remembered I ran out to check and it was still there! lmao.gif

Our caps are different and I think the stickers are bigger than the ones on ours. I lost mine because when I got it it was already on the cap. I thought it was a piece of metal with a label fit into a lip or something because it was able to spin. Come to find out SFR or whoever packaged it stuck it in there for shipping. Oh, well. I like it without the sticker better. But like I said, ours are different, and beta 2.

 

FYI They DO have these same caps that fit Beta2. I grabbed a cap that looks similar from the garage thats a screw on. I think its from an Eclipse. Anyway its identical to this cap and it fits perfect. Just a note. Mine was red and I just bead blasted it so its silver now. No sticker option though but thats ok, it was free. Just wanted to throw that in here.

Ericy321- let me know exactly what car that cap came off of. They may have the caps, but dont know that they also fit Beta II's. AS soon as you know, I'll email them and see if they can send me one. Probably have it sent to REDZMAN so he can see if it'll fit. That'd be great if that works out! I could probably get us another group buy with beta II valve cover owners then!

Yep, its a secret for know. Not too big, I think it'll just give folks another option on a part thats fairly easy to get ahold of, but still. More options we have the merrier!

TO ANYONE MISSING/NEEDING A HYUNDAI RACING LOGO:

These are the worst things ever. As soon as I put it on, all 4 tires went flat and my rims bent. It decreased my gas milage to 10mpg. The car stutters on uphills. I'm burning oil now. My compression is low on 3 cylinders. My transmission started grinding. My EGTs went up. My shocks are now shot. The windows won't roll up and it's raining right now. The darn thing makes the car unable to 0-track when steering. My wheel bearings are grinding and my CVs are ticking. The sticker shot off at high speeds and went through my windshield. My driver's seat developed a hole and a spring pokes me in the side. I started leaking blinker fluid and I'm all out of headlight fluid. Also, my nitrous oxide tank exploded but that was unrelated.

Just kidding about all of that above.

Im almost positive its an MR2 cap. 91-95 should work. I also matched it with a Del Sol and it looked to be identical so that should be all that is needed. You have someone there to verify fit?
