the harder the better!
(thats what she said) struts arent that hard to swap anyways you can swap them in before a race then swap out just get a lifetime alignment from a local shop lmao.gif |
I posted up before that these springs will befor autoX and Drag guys. biggthumpup.gif
I am trying to get around a 350/300 spring rate with a 1.2 " drop |
Honda "drag" racers are going with 1000lb Skunk2 springs. But that's for track/drag only. They say that 350-400 is good for the daily driver.
http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=964109 Would be nice to have a set of 350lb springs in a package set of 4. And then be able to buy a set of 2 1000lb springs for the rear. |
Yeah but what kind of WHP numbers are they seeing?
How stiff do you guys want them? As I said before, these are custom so we can make them whatever you want if there is enough interest |
im with whatever jon wants LOL
|

But I've never used an aftermarket set before, so I don't know how harsh they are as is. I'm sure we could call Eibach and ask them what theirs is rated. Then add a little more. |
well the eibachs are actually pretty soft IMO...
|
Actually, the Eibachs are VERY soft!!!! I just got off the phone with them.
The guy only had the info sheet on the rear set. They come straight from Germany. It's a dual rate spring. The initial rate is 85lbs/inch. The second rate is 159lbs/inch. I can't imagine that being much better than stock. Just lower. |
They are better though. Or maybe it's just the strut combo that is.
Try to find out what the HKS springs are rated. I know they are labeled as "HARD". |
