I want to see how many people would be interested in getting the 2.2l stroker kit for the betaI sometime this fall/winter.

 

What sort of money are we talking? Gains?

 

price wise i dont know, but the individual kit is 3k US, but i'm hoping to get about 5-7 people (shooting for $2300)

I know of nobody who has used/published results of this kit, but the gains will probably be huge as far as torque/curve goes, but overall hp will (im guessing) go up about 10%

 

I was suprised when i didnt see any stroker kits for our cars. thought itd be a cool idea.

the reason you dont see stroker kits is because everybody wants stuff like this but nobody but a small minority actually purchase them

 

what parts would be involved, rods? crank? pistons?? I just put the 1.8l pistons in my 2.0, and was wondering how we could stroke the beta. Would they be oem parts, stuff thats already out there, or something brand new. I can say though that I won't be buying anything else for the tibby for quite some time.

 

I would also liek to know details on what kind of stuff we're talking about as far as pistons, rods, etc go. I would be interested.

 

OK, the kit would include: forged pistons (any compression), rings, rods (forged aftermarket),rod bolts, stroker crank (i forget but i think its a billet piece if not its forged).

If I forgot anything ill repost once I talk to RPW again.

 

I'm in for it. I've always loved the idea.
