Default Re: another clutch question

ok guys

Hes right.. i got a lot going on right now
I MEAN A LOT!!!

My whole engine bay... well.. has nothing
lol

My interior...
Except for the seats and the steering wheel.. has nothing...

(everything is for sale in the for sale forum by the way.. including the turbo wink.gif lol.gif )

Anyways

Last time i spoke to one of their representatives.. they quote me on something like 1200-1300 if we get 5..

But f that..
I want to talk to the owner.. that guy likes me in a non sexual way (i hope) 8O
Im hoping i can bring him down to about 1000 for 5.

Im taking my best friends cousins BMW to their shop sometime next week when this whole mess passes by..
I hope
I got the radiator group buy done. Imma start working with mussa, i need to get my car in drivable shape, and i need to sue some morons who messed up my kitchen Grrr.

As far as the kit..

The kit is working fine..
I leave my doors pined up everytime i am working on it.. just to keep the interior kool is this krazy LA weather. I am a bit worried about the struts as i heard mixed reactions from other people. I had one side go bad twice. Once right after they fixed it AT THE SHOP!
But they took care of me RIGHT AWAY.
My passengers side strut has been absolutely fine since day 1.

The struts are definantly getting abused... i open and close the doors frequently, just to make sure they dont give out. I dont want any of you having to deal with a warranty issue.

You will NOT be able to use door poppers with this kit.
they open about 45 degree out (the normal way).. then they move out. This is to clear that big POS door panel.

This also allows medium-thin sized people to get in the car without having to pin the door up.

Ill try and take some more detailed pictures when i get home since my door panels and most of my crap is gone.

If you guys are hardcore serious.. ill definantly try and get this done within 3 weeks. Since i dont have the time to ship stuff out and pick them up.. imma have one their reps sign up and take care of all that stuff.
They are a famous company and sell/make body kits.

Now that i know about this thread.. ill try and follow it more.

thanx tibwrc

3 weeks, that is fast, I was hoping we could have a little more time to save up the $$$, but if you work out a great deal then 3 weeks would be good.
if it is around $1000 u.s. funds, I am defineately in.

I'm still in for sure Jaws, take your time, no rush at ALL.

We all need time to pay up anyways.

Hell, if the guy is cool with it, get him to let us make payments.

You don't have to check in, just enable email notification for yourself on this topic.

I am in no rush either but I do have a question about the door poppers.

You said that the doors open about 45 degrees before they lift. I know that the poppers would not lift the door up, but what about popping them out and then you can lift them up by hand?

mmm yes. pics. good, sexy, and convincing pics. to be able to spend $1000, there's a need for convincing pics.

also, i know it would be asking for way too much. but if you manage to narrow the price down to anything under $1000, people like me will be able to send a moneyorder. ($1000 is the limit).

if people are hesitant about sending that much money through a plain ol' moneyorder, than western union. (also has a limit under $1000).

from what it looks, i think more than 5 peple are up for this. i also think of advertising and setting up a date of official sales will bring newcomers.

however, i'm just an onlooker. if i see an affordable price for lambo doors than the purchase is secured. i'm just posting because of unsureness--because it's a lot of money to spend for doors instead of hp.

thanks for the update jaws! i know you're incredibly busy. take your time to deal with personal things.
