yes cars are very expensive here.
ridiculously, which is why ppl routinely take out 7-10 year loans just "own" the car
approximately in USD!
Toyota corolla 1.6 auto $44k
Tuscani 2.0L auto $48k
Ford Focus 1.6L auto $50k
Subaru Impreza WRX $62k
Volkswagon Golf 2.0 $79k
BMW 320i $100k
after 10 years, you need to pay for a special certificate to continue using the car for another 10 years (approx USD16K). Else you'll have to deregister the car.
