Default Yesterday was a sad day

I bought all the stuff to prepare my car for winter storage in October. I know it's a little early but I wanted to get it over with. My car will be hibernating as of the middle of October. My list to be done will be:

  1. Wash car
  2. Strip wax
  3. Clay bar
  4. Polish
  5. Wax
  6. Vacuum and armor all interior
  7. Oil change with full synthetic
  8. Pour in water remover and gas treatment in the tank
  9. Pull in garage
  10. Remove battery
  11. Put soft microfiber cover on it
  12. Give it a hug
  13. Say goodbye for 5-6 months

How about making a different list:

1. Move down south.

2. Enjoy warm sunny days in the car all year long.

Nice thing about the EVO... AWD. If I moved somewhere with snow, just throw a set of snows on the stock rims.

I'll be doing the same thing as the OP in about 5 weeks.

I've recently decided to get a set of aggressive snow tires and turn the boost down and make her a DD this winter.

I know people have different tastes in climates, but I seriously don't understand you people who live above the frost line. To spend 1/4 of your life in frozen hell.... There may be "fun" things to do in the snow, and I'd probably enjoy it just the same, but you can just as easily take a vacation there rather than live in it. What gives?
