No governor, and that little tail tuck that those raised p/u's do when they've hit theirs and watch me shift gears and disappear into the horizon...

... Not that I condone excessive speed on highways, sometimes though, I need(read:want), and she need's me to(again, read:wants me to) open it up for a little while just to curtail the testosterone.

It's stupid, I know, but sometimes that over 200 km/h rush just feels good.

the unclustered simple engine bay of the beta engine,

and the all-soft touch door padding and dashboard..sure beats some late model compact cars with their hard plastic dash and door panels of some compact cars..especially scuff resistance

The reliability. My 04 Accent has been the best car I've ever owned. Check engine light came on once during warranty, the O2 sensor got wet at the car wash. Other than that, it's just needed basic maintenance. Now at 92000km

The design. Exotic-looking. Pretty from all angles. Simple. Easy. Round. Artsy. Thematic. Stands out. Bigger and more capable than it looks. New cars don't have ANY of this.

It's a toss up between the 6700 rpm limiter and the rear sway bar.

But a rear wiper is obscenely handy too. I use mine all the time.

It may be a bit of a strange feature but I like that my 00 Tiburon has a metal sunroof. It doesn't let the sun in when I don't want it, but it's nice to have open.

The Beta engine. Even though it only makes 100whp, it's still a very reliable motor.
