Drove 1300 miles from San Antonio to Florida in my truck during spring break. Then drove all the way down and around florida through the everglades, and right back home. Well over 3k miles during those 6 days.
I used to do 600miles one way to El Paso just to see my ex's parents for the weekend.
And people wonder why Texans don't get out of the state much. It takes a day just to drive that far.
That and there's no reason to leave Texas. wink.gif lol

Didn't do it in one day, since a day is only 24 hours. But, I did pull a trailer 1300 miles to Austin from Vegas, crashed there for 3 hours and drove back.

The most I've driven in one day was 1150 miles.
Woke up in a cow pasture in Teec Nos Pos, AZ. Drove to Four Corners just after sunrise. Drove to Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado. Toured the Cliff Palace. Drove to Arches National Park near Moab, Utah. Walked several miles in to see a bunch of the arches. Left Arches at sunset. Drove towards home and made it to Rufus, OR before wearing out and switching drivers.
1150 miles isn't too many, but combined with a rough day of hiking in 100+ degree temperatures it kicked my butt.
I generally try not to exceed 800 miles a day if I'm planning on driving for multiple days.
