What would you say a decent number for the weight of a 2k tiburon, gas and all the extra's weigh upto? I'm tunning my RSM today and i need to check my figures.

 

in autocross trim (spare tire, jack, tools, floormats, and whatever else removed), with 3/8 tank of gas and a 200 lb driver (me)...that car weighed 2820 pounds. Gasoline weights 6 pounds per gallon. All that crap I took out of the car weighs about 40.

 

Stock, no passengers, sub box, 2,710 lbs. I forget how much gas i had though.

 

Mine was 2650 lbs (2820 - 170 for me) with half a tank of gas. Mine's a '97, so I hope it applies.

I dropped off some garbage and our local dump charges you by weight -- they weight your car coming in and going out. You may have a similar setup somewhere nearby that would probably weight you for free (it takes all of 1 minute).

I remember either 2690 or 2790.

The only thing good about living in the midwest out in the middle of nowhere. Gotta love grain elevators.
