I can't find any independent data supporting their claims. Any acceleration or dyno testing I did see showed significant losses.

i bought and installed a volo vp11 on my 2001 beta lc,

usually when i'm running my sri, gas mileage is crap cause the map sensor reads more air coming so it adjusts fuel..i usually got average rate of 28mpg without the volo..now i'm averaging about 39mpg

i also tried it with my stock airbox and mileage was very impressive..averaging 47 with conservative driving and without jackrabbit starts..i managed to collect 100 miles on the odometer with only 2 gallons in the tank..i kept a spare bottle of gas in the trunk in case i ran out..and yes, i know running empty is bad for the fuel pump and sucks up and mixes the sediment in the fuel tank.

in all..the vp11 increased the gas mileage by a very noticable percent,

as for performance..it's hardly noticable..but the increase in fuel efficiency clearly shows

this was all based on city driving..not bad for a beta accent

I think the 1.6 ecm (atleast I remember you running the 1.6) is the cause of the bad mileage, not the SRI. Ryans gets crap mileage as well. So the chip just leaned the crap out of it. hmm.. well atleast it did something.

i have plans for the car when i obtain a daily driver with an auto,

the alpha harness and everything is gonna be stripped off inside the car, it's a fvcking shame the sfr-adapter from that sfr kdm a**hole jay didn't work..
