Default Tuning Your Engine

If I Get My Tibb's Engine Tuned Up Will It Increase The Performance Any? Sorry, I'm Kinda New To Cars And I'm Really Gettin Into Them Now Since I Have One.

EDIT - If I Get My Engine Tuned What Should I Have Done? Anything Special I Should Ask For?

Thx.

It depends on what you mean by "tune."

Do you mean by having a tune up (fuel filter, plugs, plug wires, etc...) or do you mean by actually doing extreme mods to the engine (turbo/SC/Nitrous) and tuning the air/fuel ratio's?

You can be able to squeeze out quite a bit of juice N/A wise out of the beta2 engine. We used to have a Hyundai Motorsports here locally and they produced 200hp+ beta2s all day.

You need to give more info on your car. Is it a 4cyl(beta 2) or 6cyl(delta)? And what exactly do you mean by "tune"? It sounds like you mean "tuned for more performance" not "I need plugs and wires".
Clarification please.

a tune up wouldnt hurt i guess. is there ne thing wrong with ur car that u would need a tune up for? if not, ur money would prolly be better spent buying a cai, exhaust, header...etc.

I would wait till you get some mods in, unless you are already modded...
