Default PLEASE SAVE MY SCOUPE

OK, Here's my story. A friend of mine had a 92' Hyundai Scoupe, she threw a rod and was ready to junk it. So I bought it from her for $80 , i figured it would be a cool little project. After i got the car i realized that there is not much i can do with it suicide . But i would like to know what i need to do to make this car at least half way decent without having to pawn off any internal organs. I can only find 1 kit for it and of course it is in Korea and only the front bumper.(about $450 US Dollars, dont know about shipping), from what i know my engine options are; another Scoupe, Exel 91-03,and Mirage 91-03.
Please help dunno , i relly dont want to put more than $3,500-$4,500 into this. And i dont want to have to but new or replace parts every 2 weeks.
Any help would be bow_down greatly bow_down appreicated.

Just wondering, what is the condition of the rest of the car?

Okay. Limit yourself to one question per thread. And put the thread in the right forum.

Body Kit questions go into External Appearance
Engine questions go into ENGINE
Turbo questions go into Forced Induction.

If you don't want to have to replace parts every two weeks, and you don't want to spend $5000 on the car, don't bother. Sell it for parts.

It's a 11 year old car. The thrown rod indicates some severe wear and tear, or poor maintenance, or both. Getting that car into "good" shape is going to be fairly expensive. New parts are going to cost $$$, used parts are going to be of dubious quality/nature.

Don't get me wrong, you could get the car up and running for under $1000. But a body kit, paint job, new motor, you're looking at $2000-$300- right there. We still haven't addressed transmission, brakes, suspension..etc..etc..etc..

It's not a project I would consider for the cost-dollar/benefit ratio.
