I keep my owners manual in the bathroom for some good reading material. Anyone else read theirs on a normal basis?

I'd say it's probably not "normal" for Americans to read their owners' manuals, at all, ever. I read mine cover to cover when I buy a car and leave it in the car because that's where I do all my maintenance on the car, and the maintenance schedules are in the book. Longest sentence of the day award winner!

This seems like a good time to mention my updated schedule. Making extended schedules for your car's maintenance: also not normal?

I'm still putting off making a new service schedule for the beta accent. The chassis and the engine have different mileages on them, and obviously a beta has different service requirements to an alpha. It shouldn't be hard job to make it, then just staple it in the back of the owner's manual.

That's a tip I just heard for photography. Put your user manual in the bathroom and it'll be sure to get read! Great idea.

I read it after I got the car. Haven't had a reason to read it since.
