165K on mine and still running just as strong as the day I took her off the dealer showroom floor.
|
205,000 miles
1998/1999 Hyundai Tiburon FX Original Engine and Transmission Burns about 1 1/4 quarts of oil every 3,000 miles. (Which is typical for a car with this much miles) |

ok update whos got the lowest milage on an RD? lol
im at like 43k on my 01 build date was may 1st ill get pictures when i start driving it again... only thing is u can roll back the odometer in the tiburon, or swap gauge clusters while you own the car... i wish there was another way to prove mileage; im gonna have to post pics that show that its got low milage, not just pics of the crosshatching in the cylinders either. lol ony place i got rust is those stupid front bumper mounting tabs by the blinkers! rust on the breaks and half shafts and sh*t dont count! |
Over 263,000 miles... I haven't been traveling 130 miles/day for the last few months so I've slacked off a bit.
I always joked with my fiance that I would drive this until the wheels fell off... Unfortunately, I think the body is going to be the first to go... As much as I want a new Genesis Coupe... I am going to have to hold on to this for another year or so... |
when i bought my car it had 250k on the odometer, and on the title it says exceeds mechanical limits. Lawl
no idea but doubt it has more than 1,000,000 |
Well finally hit 100k last night :(
|
198K

|
200,386 Miles on my 99 tiburon, original engine
|
when i got rid of my 97 tib fx she had over 255k miles on her. unfortunately due to circumstances i was forced to get rid of her right after i replaced the clutch. the starter bolts were stripped and i wanted to badly replace them but i was forced to move a week early from the new owners of our houses' move in date. but i bought a brand new 2011 ford fiesta which only had 16mi. on her, its nice not having to worry about any issues but i miss my tib. i will always be a hyundai girl though.

Had 101,300 on my 2001 Elantra until I crashed that bad boy. I planned on having that forever...the guy that cut me off had different plans.
Bought a 2012 Accent in December, and it now has 5,100 miles. |
I had 258k (76k were from me) on my 2000 Elantra when it got totaled. I'm up to 149k (21k from me) on my 2000 Tib.
|
220k and some change planning to rebuild another 1.8
|
Coming up on 150,000. Lucky me, my commute to work is litterally .99 of a mile. So tires, and other "replaceables" last me a bit. :)
|
Just about 29K when I put her away last week. Not bad for a car that's almost 4 years old now. :)
|
Reviving a dead thread just because. My 2001 tib. Bought brand new Nov 2001. My baby
