My 97 tib has around 116,000 miles on it. Does anyone know how long a healthy beta I motor should run? Jus curious.

nope...if you take care of it who knows...personally once mine hits 150,000 on the odometer (mine engine is less then the chasis) i will be upgrading to beta 2 motor/tranny

I've replaced pretty much EVERYTHING in this project. Shooting for as much of a new car as I can get.

right now im at 113,960 on body and tranny...about 65-67K on motor

I rolled 100K miles last week, doing my usual illegal celebration while doing so.

100MPH at 100K. I gots the video, but don't wanna get in trouble. LOL

i got mine with just shy of 130,000 mile and now its got 138.xxx. run surprisingly storng for a car that needs a new head gasket

my 98 rd1 tib has 147,586 miles... just put an 89,000 mile engine in it wank.gif

206,640 miles on my 97 FX. Original engine too, old tranny lost synchro on 5th at 197k.

^^ I think you have the Tiburon with the most miles. Too bad it's not the original transmission.

I rolled a quarter million miles on Feb 1st.

Current mileage is just over 252,400... original clutch, still can push 38+mpg driving the speed limit.

166,000 on Elantra. 2nd Transmission (auto clutch went @ 165k; no maintenance)

on our '94 Excel manual clutch blew around 50,000, on our brand new dealer-bought '96 Elantra, manual clutch blew at around 60,000 miles. Our clutches are POS garbage fire1.gif
