Go to your local muffler shop and get your resonator cut off........ ohhhhh my it make a huge difference it is not buzzy at all..... i did it and i love it and i think you will to.....especially for those without enough money to get the new muffler....

Will any muffler shop do it? Will it cause any damage to my <stock> exhaust? How about doing it my self?

The resonator is the long "expanded tube like" thang.
Sure you could do it yourself, if you can cut a pipe (straight preferably), and then install a length of pipe to replace the resonator. Heck you could even take the cut out resonator to your local exhaust shop, and have them create the proper length tube with the proper expanded ends. (expand both ends of the new pipe so that it will fit over the ends of the existing pipe.)
photo compliments of batlord, hopefully he doesn't mind me, uh...borrowing it smile.gif

I wouldn't say "reccomended" unless you really want more sound out of your tailpipe.
This is just an "available" mod. In the big scheme of things, it won't help or hurt your performance, but it will make your car louder.
