Default Natural aspirated power for 2003 Tib

Soooo....
THis past weekend i made it over to the Boston Auto Show and got a chance to check out the tiburon. i actually went with the WRX in mind, but fell in love with the tiburon. Basically pending a love or leave it test drive i'm gonna get one, but i have a few questions for you experts...

1. WHat are the extent of the USEFUL performance modifications (naturally asperated only)...

2. What effects and implications will this have on the 10 year warrantee?

3. How much am i going to love this car?!?! i currently havea 1994 probe gt, no mods except audio.

Thanks for the 411!

1. They are currently making about 170-180whp with N/A mods.

2. Warranty all depends on how much of a **** your dealer is. But the way warranties work. if you have a noe xhaust and your engine blows. Its not the exhaust fualt unless they can prove it.
Then ya sue whoever made the ehxaust.

3. Its all up to you. With hyundais, you either make a hate forum or you make a I love it forum.

Now remember. What do you want in a car? If you are looking for respect and power. Its all abotu WRX.

If you like being a Loner and a WildCard. You want the tiburon.

Tiburon makes a better date car.

Let's not double-post, just an FYI. Keep it to a single forum please. I'll delete your other topic in Engine Performance...

Do you want the 4 cyl or the V6?

Either way, keep an eye on Alpine Developments. They are planning some good stuff for boosting (Supercharger for V6 and I4, and Turbo for I4) which they are going for CARB and Hyundai Warranty Approval. Right now they are offering or going to offer something really good... Just be ready for some cool announcements from Ballrub (Stephen @ Alpine USA office).

Alpine better do a better job in the QC department because from what I have seen their products suck donkey ballz. I doubt Hyundai would warranty a problematic supercharger.

The actually S/C hardware wise is great!
It's the Customer Service from South Africa and the programming of the "pre-programed" unichip that they sent to ya.
BallRub has tried his darnest to help out.
One of our local members has been dealing with him, and hope to get a re-tuned unichip once they complete testing, and correct programming.

So, just to say their COMPLETE product sucks donkey balls would be false. Just the PR from South Africa and the unichip.

yeah, i'm not an expert on n/a tuning, but it matters wheter or not you're getting a v6 or i4. if you're getting the i4, forced induction all the way. there is no other way to get power out of the i4. the v6 is different. it does have an aluminum block, which makes it gay for fi. i'm just gonna stick with my gen2 and make it boooooooooosted.
