My Craftsman 9 bucks DVOM, is ok, but I wish it more ranges, I was thinking of buying a Craftsman pro

I wouldn't bother with a Craftsman anything unless it has a lifetime warranty...

If you are considering spending $50 on a multimeter, a used Fluke would be a MUCH better choice.
