mileaging out
dude dont feel bad i have like 90000 on mine and i put 25000 on it in 2 months!!! drove it 100 miles a day to work and i take it on all my major trips becasue well its more comfortable then my wifes 96 accent....i only put like 10000 in the last 8 months just because i have been trying to save some of the miles and have been using wifey's accent!! my back is killing me!! my complaints with my car is the dash rattling, the rear view mirror rattling, my passenger side window rolls too far, and the power window switch for the passenger side (on the driverside) is tempermental!! sometimes up and down and sometimes nothing....not to mention the huge dent in my hatch because my wife has been driving it!! *LOL&* my car is the money pit!! oh yeah i forgot my transmission grinds between 1 and 2 and the dealer pretty much said that i have to go easy with it!!!

It may be a mileage thing, check the fine print but the 10yr/100k mile i think is only on the power train, unfortunately I dont believe door locks have anything to do with making the wheels move, My plug wires went bad(at around 63k miles) and those werent covered either. I think the door locks/windows and all that other coverage ends around 60k miles. QUOTE

They had to order me an actuator for the pass side door lock, and a low fuel sending unit. They say these things are NOT covered under my Hyundai Extended Warranty??!!! What the HELL would it cover? And why the hell doesn't it cover @ least the damn door lock?
Hmm... Mine is a second owner and the same part went out. They covered mine. They had to order me an actuator for the pass side door lock, and a low fuel sending unit. So what?
Mine got replaced for free and I was at 1 year 40,000 miles. Just depends on the dealer. Mine said he'll fix anything for 100,000 miles. Just as long as I don't open the engine.
LOL

right there is the golden rule, regardless of the fine print it pays to have a cool dealer that really knows what customer service means, sounds like redz got a good one
