Master Technicians
I was wondering what does it take to become a master tech. Are there a bunch of tests you have to do or does it go by the amount of time you’ve worked somewhere? And are master tech’s universal or do you only become a master tech for one type of vehicle?

You have to work in Hyundai dealership for minimum of 8 years, and finish all trainings.
Master certificate is for all Hyundai’s and you don’t do tests for every single model!

To be a Nissan Master Tech, I have to first become an ASE Master Tech (pass tests A1 through A8 and show 2 years of work history), then go to all of the Nissan classes. I've done 4 of my ASE tests and have 4 more to do.
