Hey guys I was just looking through some old posts on evolutionm.net and found this. I wasn't sure if you guys had seen it before but I thought I would post it here anyways. One of the best Tiburons I have seen!

^- good sign a shop did it. I am more impressed by a few beta turbo'd tibs here than that thing. The only swap I approve of are the sleeper pure mitz based hyudais..

However, I would give props to anyone who takes on a swap like that themselves. Tons of work to get it going I'm sure.

A V8 powered CRX is still right near, if not at the very top of the list of cool swaps.

^^ maybe but then you get into the handling of the vehicle when the engine is almost twice as heavy as what went in there.

^ what he said.

Anyway if you put it far enough back, it could still do alright. You'll be making a custom firewall along with the engine/transmission mounts anyway, so why not slide it back for better balance?

i always cringe when i see frankenstein engine swaps into unibody cars. the amount of unnecessary weight you'd be adding from large steel plating for engine mount pickups, and the different stress you'd be putting through the body without any real knowledge of the effects...

don't get me wrong though. its definitely cool as hell. just don't venture too far from the burnout pad.
