Default Infomercial

Have any of you guys seen the infomercial for the Tornado Fuel Saver? www.tornadofuelsaver.com
This thing looks really hokey. They claim that you get better gas mileage and a possible increase of 5-20 hp for only $75. Stuff like this makes me angry.

The only people that buy that stuff are the ones that think Elvis shops at their local Wal-Mart with an Alien and Bigfoot. rolleyes.gif

When I first started modifying my car (before I came on SR) I didn't know much about cars, so I got swindled into one of those . Don't waste your money! Even if it did work it would have to be installed after the MAFS and could shake loose and block the throttle body butterfly, not good! get the SR gauges or shortshifter instead.

Hey, man, I saw it with my own eyes, aight? I'd have pictures to post, but that damn alien knew what I was up to and used its telepathic powers to blank out my negatives before I could get them developed. Cattle-mutiliating sunovabytch...

I'd REALLY like to see the setup that these people are using to get their numbers for fuel efficiency improvement and HP gain...

I think they use the same method as those who say yellow stickers add 5 hp. rolleyes.gif

The TornadoAir has been shown on other dyno's in magazines to produce 0 HP.

The fuel savings? Maybe, but I seriously doubt them. Our intake manifold would pretty much screw up any "air swirling" that the Tornado air would setup.

If you could maybe install them inside of each intake runner...MAYBE you could get some gains/HP performance out of them.
