You got that backwards. The MK3 pooprah, while TOTALLY played out, is a decent reliable car. The Z32 on the other had is known for head gasket and leaky oil issues. Sine the US market got screwed out of the RB powered Z250, I'd have to say as a DD I'd stay clear of the Z. Now, as a toy we're talking a different ball game.

id probably just remove the engine/trans and whatever was salvageable and swap it into an accent or something

Are you shitting me? LA Wires are the only way to roll in a 64.

Though for my money a '60 over the '64 any day.

My money would go to a 11-13 wrx (sti is out of my price range), BRZ, or a used optima sx. If I had the cash for it, I would wait till next year and get an 89 R32 GTR.
