I never knew! Do you think they will come out with a small pick-up in the near future? It would only make sense.

Is that based on the mighty max chassis? 4G64 and all that?
Light trucks are more useful than pickup trucks though, especially in urban areas.

I believe they did only in Korea. It was based off of Giugiaro's Pony (which is why it resembles the VW pickup) in 1976:
They made the H100 series in the mid 90's.
New ones:
We all tend to think that Hyundai was created in the 90's. It was the same but reinvented. They even had an Elantra Wagon in 1976! There are lots of similarities.

They have tonnes here, Porters they're called. Good design too!
I'd love a Pony pickup. They exported them to various south and central american locations, as well as the middle east.
I almost flew to Argentina to buy one for $400 to drive it back - A shitty 1.2L engine and 4spd trans, but that can be swapped out for the top of the range 1.6L or even 4G63 or 4G64 pretty easily (Stellar2 had a carburated version as well)

There's also this:
I'd LOVE to have one - The Stellar is really a nice place to be in! And with a wagon, oh man!
